Bayside Council’s innovative AI Flood Detection and Early Warning System was honoured at the Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities Awards on Thursday 10 October.
Council won this prestigious Award under the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaption category.
This Award highlights Council’s commitment to using cutting-edge technology to help safeguard our community against the impacts of climate change.
This project was funded by a $300,000 grant from the NSW Reconstruction Authority.
Bayside Council was also a finalist in the Overall Sustainable Cities award category.
