The countdown is on for the RSPCA Million Paws Walk with locals and their furry friends expected to hit seven events across Victoria on Sunday 26 May.
Walkers in Melbourne, Geelong, Traralgon, Mansfield, Eildon, Wangaratta, and the Mornington Peninsula will enjoy dog events, exhibits, and activations all to raise vital funds to help end animal cruelty.
Speaking about the Million Paws Walk, Events Manager Kate Kasby said she couldn’t wait to see plenty of wagging tails this weekend.
“The Million Paws Walk is an amazing community day for people and their dogs, and it makes such a different to help RSPCA Victoria end animal cruelty,” Ms Kasby said.
“We’d love to see as many Victorians to join us this weekend at the Albert Park Lake, you can register online in advance to make the most of any discounts on offer, or come along and register on the day, every person, and paw, counts!”
Registrations for the 30th Annual Million Paws Walk are now open at those booking online will automatically receive a 40% ticket discount by 24 May.
The Melbourne Million Paws Walk will be at the Pelican Lawn at Albert Park Lake on Sunday, 26 May. The event will open at 10:00am with the Walk starting at 12:00pm and the event concluding at 3:00pm.
