The Department of Health has reported no new active cases of COVID-19 overnight.
However, the State’s total now stands at 557 after a historical case was identified.
Despite it being non-conclusive, the public health team contact traced the case the same way they would if she was confirmed positive. She was a known close contact of a confirmed case and was in home quarantine at the time.
The contact tracing process showed that there was no risk of transmission.
There are five active cases across the State with one in regional WA.
To date, 543 people have recovered from the virus in WA and there is one confirmed COVID-19 patient in a Perth hospital.
Yesterday 368 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics, and of these 355 were assessed and 351 were swabbed.
To date there have been 65,698 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 11,802 tests were carried out in regional WA.
