Curtin University has achieved its best-ever ranking in the QS World University Rankings, rising 10 places to 183rd position globally.
The 2024 results – the 20th edition – showed Curtin’s strong performance was bolstered by a significant improvement in its academic reputation standing.
The University also scored among the top 10 universities in Australia for the new performance indicator of international research network, which measures an institution’s collaboration with international partners.
Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said the University continued to excel on the world stage, with Curtin improving year-on-year since 2018 to climb more than 100 places globally.
“Curtin continues to climb the prestigious QS World University Rankings in recognition of the University’s outstanding academic reputation and impactful international research collaborations,” Professor Hayne said.
“Results like these aren’t possible without the unwavering commitment of our dedicated team of researchers, teaching staff and the wider Curtin community, so this outcome is testament to all their hard work.”
