World’s Largest Provider of Third-Party Maintenance and Vendor-Agnostic IT Services Ensures Heightened Support for Multinational, Multi-Vendor Networks and Data Centers
Curvature, the world’s largest provider of third-party maintenance and multi-vendor IT lifecycle services, today announced the latest step in its ongoing global expansion with the opening of an office in Sydney, Australia, and a satellite office in Melbourne. The Australian locations will offer local, national and international customers expert, flexible, end-to-end services, 24/7 global support, advanced hardware replacement and complete IT asset lifecycle management under a consolidated worldwide contract.
“This move ignites our ability to partner more closely with Curvature customers and partners across this vital region,” said Peter Weber, CEO of Curvature. “By opening offices in Australia, we can respond to escalating demand for our vendor-agnostic services while freeing local customer teams from daily support burdens.”
The Australian sites further extend Curvature’s global reach, which encompasses offices in 12 countries, more than 100 staffed service centers and over 600 parts locations around the world. The company conducts business in 20 languages, which ensures elevated support for diverse customers, including multinational enterprises, government entities, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, technology companies and telecommunications service providers.
With Curvature’s suite of tailored IT services, customers can save up to 60 percent on maintenance and 75 percent vs. manufacturers’ prices on purchases of network, server, storage and Curvature-branded products. Additionally, Curvature’s unparalleled service options enable IT teams to streamline ongoing data center operations while simplifying data center relocations, migrations and consolidations.
Seasoned Executive Tapped to Lead Australian Operations
Curvature also has announced that Darren Clarkin has joined the company as country manager in Australia. Clarkin brings more than 30 years of proven business development, operations and channel partner experience to this new role. During his tenure with industry leaders, including Cisco, VMware and Lanier Worldwide, Clarkin navigated customer requirements from Silicon Valley to Singapore and Sydney, so he is well positioned to form a highly responsive, local team to support the special requirements of multinational, multi-vendor organizations in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
“I’m thrilled to join Curvature and help building a sustainable operation in the ANZ region,” said Clarkin. “Our value proposition is compelling to any organization faced with the constant need to innovate while still maintaining legacy IT infrastructures. With Curvature, organizations can address both as part of a powerful, end-to-end IT asset lifecycle strategy.”
According to Jason Ogden, Curvature’s GM for APAC, Clarkin’s appointment will drive continued momentum throughout the region. “Our service delivery model has been well established in Australia for nearly a decade,” he said. “We’re excited to have an experienced leader of Darren’s caliber ensure that our clients and partners benefit from rapid, hands-on support and expert IT services execution.”
