Police have charged two men following several dangerous driving incidents at Yeppoon and Rockhampton last week.
Police will allege that on August 20, a vehicle allegedly being driven by a 25-year-old man failed to stop for police on Yeppoon Road.
It will be further alleged that on August 21, a 32-year-old man was seen in a different vehicle driving across the Fitzroy Bridge.
Police attempted to stop the car when the driver allegedly hit two other passing vehicles and a police car while evading police.
Investigations into these incidents located the two men at a residence at Agnes Waters.
At 2am today, local police and specialist resources from Gladstone and Brisbane took the men into custody without incident. . Police wish to thank the local residents directly affected this morning for their assistance by staying inside while operations were under away.
The 25-year-old man has been charged with two counts each of evasion and driving without a license. He was also charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, wilful damage and stealing.
The 32-year-old male has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Both men will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court tomorrow.
