Dangerous Drugs Charges in Coomera, QLD

Gold Coast Police seized a significant quantity of dangerous drugs, along with drug manufacturing materials, during a search warrant executed in Coomera on October 25.

The investigation began following community intelligence suggesting that the Beattie Road address was involved in the sale of dangerous drugs.

During the search, police discovered a range of substances, including cannabis, methylamphetamine, THC oil actively cooking, and over one kilogram of MDMA tablets. In addition, instructions for drug production were located within the residence.

A 32-year-old Eagleby woman was located at the residence and taken into custody.

She has been charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used, and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs schedule 1 drug quantity of or exceeding Schedule 4, possess utensils or pipes etc for use, publishing or possessing instructions for producing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of weapons Category D/H/R weapon, possessing anything used in the commission of crime defined in Part 2 and producing dangerous drugs.

She is due to reappear at Southport Magistrates Court on November 7.

Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon commended the investigative team and emphasised the commitment of Gold Coast Police to protecting the community from dangerous drugs.

“This operation demonstrates our ongoing focus on keeping harmful substances off the streets.

“Gold Coast Police will continue to act decisively against anyone involved in the manufacture or distribution of dangerous drugs,” Chief Superintendent Hanlon said.
