Dark sky photography course to sharpen your stars

Australia’s only Dark Sky Park is offering you the chance to up your Insta game, with a night time photography course from an expert in capturing the cosmos.

Being held at the Warrumbungle ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park this Friday, the course is designed to give all budding astro-photographers some tricks of the trade.

Warrumbungle Visitor Centre Manager May Fleming said it was part of the celebrations for International Dark Sky Week.

“If you’re anything like me, your shots of the night sky are far from the spectacular scene you saw.

“This course is designed to help you learn to use your own camera to sharpen the stars, master the moon and deepen the darkness.

“The best place in Australia to learn to capture the night sky is the Warrumbungle ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park, internationally recognised as Australia’s only Dark Sky Park.

“Under the instruction of Brad LeBrocque, participants in this limited-spaces course will get to literally take home the sky.

“The course is part of celebrations around the world for International Dark Sky week, recognising the importance of places where night skies are free from light pollution.
