It’s the final Cutting Edge for 2023 and provides some round ups of the year that was, including from the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Committee (From the Chair, pg.1) and from RACS in Aotearoa New Zealand generally (pg.8). We’ve included achievements made by our Fellows this year (pg.5) and created a video of our 2023 highlights.
Also in this issue we announce an opportunity to undergo cultural competency CPD for free (pg.3), introduce Te Rau Poka – RACS surgical academy for Māori (pg.4) and share our briefing paper to the new Minister of Health (pg.6).
Fun fact: 63 per cent of Aotearoa New Zealand Fellows and Trainees used the RACS online library in the last 12 months (pg.9).
