A man has been arrested for deception offences totalling more than $1.8m.
On Thursday 14 December, Detectives from Serious and Organised Financial Crime Investigation Section searched a property at Woodlane and arrested a man for three counts of deception to the value of $1.86 million.
It will be alleged that between December 2017 and September 2019, whilst the man was the director of a solar company, two victims paid the solar company for solar systems that were never purchased or installed and where no power purchase agreements existed.
The 43-year-old man from Woodlane was charged at Murray Bridge Police Station. He was granted police bail to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on 26 February.
