Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives seized $50,000 worth of designer handbags after executing a warrant in Prahran yesterday.
Detectives executed a warrant at the Prahran residence just before 9.30am.
During the search they located a number of designer handbags and jewellery, including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Celine, Chanel, Valentino and Balenciaga.
It is alleged the items were stolen from a Blackburn property on 15 June.
A 26-year-old Prahran woman is expected to be charged at a later date with handle stolen goods and obtain property by deception.
Detective Senior Constable Christopher Moloney said it is fantastic and rewarding as an investigator to locate and return stolen property to their rightful owner.”
