MEDIA ALERT: Disability advocates, including inaugural ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) chairman Bruce Bonyhady, will today warn a federal senate inquiry about proposed changes to the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
In a session of federal parliament likely to be at 10am-5pm AEDT today, the advocates will speak to a ‘s inquiry about proposed changes to the NDIS Act found in the proposed .
The advocates giving evidence today will include People with Disability Australia (PWDA) senior manager of policy Giancarlo de Vera, senior policy and research officer Frances Quan Farrant, senior manager of individual advocacy (QLD) Ted Jensen and former NDIA chair Bonyhady.
PWDA and Bonyhady’s submissions to the senate inquiry have been ahead of the hearing.
