Monash University invites prospective students and their families to explore our vibrant campuses and community during Open Day 2024, held on the first and third weekends of August.
Current students and faculty staff will meet and engage with visitors face-to-face and provide key information for future Monash students to make informed decisions about their studies. With an anticipated attendance of more than 74,000 visitors, registration is essential to ensure a seamless experience.
Our Open Day events will encompass a range of faculty-led experiences and offerings from our supporting programs and services. Future students will have the opportunity to meet inspiring faculty members, learn about our diverse range of programs, and gain insights into the unparalleled student experience that awaits them.
The events also provide attendees with invaluable guidance for navigating the university application process and making informed decisions about their academic journey. There will be information on financial assistance, scholarships, campus accommodation, entry schemes, study abroad opportunities, disability services and more.
Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Sharon Pickering said Open Day is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience Monash’s vibrant campuses, exceptional educational offerings and impactful research.
“We have an exciting program of events planned highlighting the transformative education, groundbreaking research, and exceptional student experience available at Monash,” said Professor Pickering.
Scheduling events on different days allows prospective students the opportunity to visit different locations depending on their interests. The Peninsula and Caulfield Open Days will take place on Saturday, 3 August, Clayton on Sunday, 4 August, and Parkville on Sunday, 18 August.
Activities within the faculty zones will either be available continuously throughout the day or repeated at different times so everyone can move through the day at their own pace. This curated experience enables visitors to explore all their interests and discover Monash in their own way without the need to plan in advance.
