Monash University’s vibrant, on-campus experience will take centre stage for Open Day 2023.
Celebrating the energy of Monash campus life, current students and faculty staff will be on hand to meet and engage with visitors face-to-face, and to help the next generation of Monash students experience the University’s supporting programs and services first-hand.
Demonstrations, interactive activities, engagement opportunities, tours and keynote speakers will feature across the Clayton, Caulfield, Parkville and Peninsula campus’ iconic buildings and spaces. As visitors navigate between each zone, the University’s services will be promoted alongside campus retailers and live music throughout the day.
President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Margaret Gardner AC described Open Day as an inspiring experience for future students.
“Open Day represents a time when we welcome school students from across Victoria and Australia to our campuses so they can experience all that Monash has to offer as they prepare to begin their journey to university life,” said Professor Gardner.
“Teams from across the University are working tirelessly to create a holistic Open Day experience across our campuses that showcases our faculties alongside our supporting programs and services, offering visitors a memorable experience through meaningful conversations and connections with our staff and student ambassadors.”
The Clayton and Caulfield Open Days will be held on different days, amplifying the campuses and allowing prospective students to visit each. There will be no shortage of on-campus signage, ambassadors, detailed printed maps, and improved digital maps to give visitors the ultimate Monash experience.
To ensure visitors don’t miss out, activities within the faculty zones will adopt the ‘always on’ approach, or will be repeated at different times, so everyone can move through the day at their own pace. This curated experience allows visitors to find what interests them, and encourages them to discover Monash in their own way, without the need to plan in advance.

Peninsula: Saturday 5 August, 10am – 2pm Caulfield: Saturday 5 August, 12pm – 4pm Clayton: Sunday 6 August, 10am – 4pm Parkville: Sunday 20 August, 10am – 2pm
