Carzoos recently asked 899 Australians which safety feature they think is the most important when it comes to
buying a car.

The responses we received hinted at people being more interested in traditional and older forms of safety, rather
than modern technologies and features. We also noticed a relatively large discrepancy in choice of safety features
amongst different generations.
* For example, 33.5% of Gen Y drivers said airbags were the most important feature, while only 25% of
Generation Xers and 23% of Baby Boomer said the same. Overall, airbags were the number one result, with more
than 1 in 4 of those surveyed
