Two women have died following a single-vehicle crash in the Hume region overnight.
About 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 January 2022), emergency services were called to Scenic Drive near Beaumont Lane, Young, after a passing motorist found a Toyota Prado had left the roadway and rolled.
The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The passenger, a 43-year-old woman, was also declared deceased.
Officers attached to the Hume Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information – or dashcam vision – to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
