A man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly sexually touched a teenage employee at a doughnut shop in Sydney’s south-west.
On Monday (12 August 2019), a 15-year-old girl reported a number of inappropriate incidents that she alleges occurred while she was working at a Wetherill Park business.
It is alleged that on Monday 5 August 2019, while working with her manager, a 54-year-old man, he sexually touched her.
On Wednesday 9 August 2019, it is alleged the man simulated a sexual act and suggested the girl accompany him to a hotel room.
On the same day it is alleged he attempted to show the girl pornography on his mobile phone.
The girl reported the allegations to her school, who notified police.
About 11.15am yesterday (Wednesday 14 August 2019), detectives attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command attended the Wetherill Park doughnut shop and arrested the man.
He was taken to Fairfield Police Station and charged with sexual touching of a child and procuring/grooming of child for unlawful sexual activity.
The man was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 15 August 2019).
