The Department of Health and Aged Care has shared a COVID-19 communication kit and service list to help providers find ongoing information about COVID-19.
The Department of Health and Aged Care’s Digital and Service Design team has offered AMA members a communication kit and a service list to help providers find COVID-19 information and advice for themselves and people in their care.
The department advises: “Now that the Australian Chief Medical Officer has declared that COVID-19 is no longer a Communicable Disease Incident of ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Significance, the Department of Health and Aged Care will manage COVID-19 like other common communicable diseases”.
“However, we will continue to maintain services with healthdirect that support prevention, reducing transmission, and managing serious illness. For instance, the healthdirect COVID-19 website, Symptom Checker, online vaccine booking, and nurse-led advice for people experiencing severe COVID-19 symptoms will remain part of the consistent and dedicated response to the virus.”
