A high range drink driver was arrested after driving while more then four times over the legal limit last night.
Just after 12.30am, Wednesday 7 August, patrols stopped a silver Kia Sorrento on South Road, Croydon Park due to the manner of driving.
The driver a 37-year-old man for Ferryden Park appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was taken back to the police station and submitted to a breath analysis where he returned a reading of 0.224.
Checks revealed the man was also driving with a cancelled licence. He was charged with driving under the influence, drink driving and driving unlicenced. He was also issued with a twelve month loss of licence and his car was impounded for 28 days. The man was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
