A drink driver has lost his licence after crashing into a house in Hackham West.
Just after 11pm last night 15 March, police were called to Glynville Drive after a resident heard a crash outside.
Police attended and located a Ford SUV which had gone through the intersection of Williams Avenue and Glynville Drive and driven through a fence.
After going through the fence, it collided with two cars which in turn pushed one of those cars into the house causing significant damage.
Thankfully the occupants of the house who were asleep inside and the driver had no injuries but after being asked to provide a breath test, the driver returned a positive result of 0.131.
The driver a 38-year-old man from Morphett Vale was reported for drink driving and has lost his licence for six months and will be summonsed to court at a later date.
