A man will face court after he was travelling at 130 km/h above the local speed limit in Edinburgh tonight.
About 8.15pm on Thursday 14 March, police were conducting speed detection duties on Sturton Road when a black 2013 Holden Clubsport sedan was detected travelling east at 180 km/h in a 50km/h speed zone.
The 20-year-old Salisbury North man was reported for driving at speed dangerous to the public, breaching the conditions of his provisional licence and failing to display ‘P’ plates. His car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
