A driver has fled the scene of a crash in Thornbury this morning leaving their passenger injured and unconscious at the scene.
Police were called to the crash on Flinders Street following reports a vehicle had struck a parked truck causing extensive damage about 1.20am.
Attending police found the 16-year-old female passenger injured and still in the vehicle before discovering the female driver had fled.
The teenager has been taken to hospital for treatment to what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
A search of the area failed to find the driver.
