About 9.15pm yesterday (Friday 6 September 2024), emergency services were called to Bringelly Road, Leppington, following reports of a crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command found a Toyota Kluger vehicle and a Mitsubishi vehicle had collided at the traffic light intersection of Bringelly Road and Edmondson Avenue, Leppington.
The driver of the Toyota, a 57-year-old woman, was trapped for a short time before being release by first responders.
She was assessed at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedic and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
The passengers, a 63-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman – were taken to Westmead Hospital for further assessments.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 26-year-old woman, and front passenger, a 27-year-old woman – were also taken to Liverpool Hospital in a for further assessment.
A crime scene was established into the circumstances of the crash.
