In order to drive more business to The Parade precinct, the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is offering a lucky shopper the chance to win a FIAT 500.
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters – through the Council’s Norwood Parade Precinct Committee – has partnered with Solitaire Automotive Group, to deliver the luxury car, which is valued at more than $25,000 driveaway.
Norwood Payneham & St Peters Mayor and Norwood Parade Precinct Committee Presiding Member, Robert Bria, said the competition was one of many initiatives currently underway to help boost the local economy.
“This competition in particular is very fitting. Just like the FIAT 500, The Parade, Norwood, is synonymous with style, elegance and class.”
In January this year, the Council, endorsed a third Business Assistance Package specifically aimed to help business affected by the State Government’s density limits.
The package comprises:
- A Discretionary Rebate of the Differential Rate (20%) be provided to all non-residential property owners impacted by the density restrictions introduced by the State Government following the borders opening on 23 November 2021 (i.e. gyms, cinemas, hospitality venues) for the Third Quarter and Final Quarter of 2021-2022
- Fees for Outdoor Dining Licenses for the period 1 December 2021 to 30 June 2022, to be waived.
- All fines and interest charged on the late payment of the 2021-2022 Third and Fourth Quarter Council Rate payments for all non-residential property owners, to be waived.
- The Parade Separate Rate for all property owners and businesses impacted by the density restrictions introduced by the State Government following the borders opening on 23 November 2021 (i.e. gyms, cinemas, hospitality venues) to be waived for the period commencing 1 December 2021 to 30 June 2022.
“The Council is doing everything it can to help local businesses which have been negatively impacted by State Government restrictions. I wish all entrants in the FIAT 500 competition the very best of luck!”
“FIATS reflect a cosmopolitan lifestyle, which The Parade presents, and I know the lucky winner will enjoy cruising the precinct.”
