Tourism NT has fast-tracked its latest marketing campaign featuring the new brand ‘Different in every sense’ which will roll out from Sunday in eastern state metro papers alongside a new video advertisement to run on Facebook this weekend, urging interstate travellers to put the Territory on their holiday itinerary.
As well as print and social media advertising, the campaign includes a cooperative marketing deal with Jetstar offering flights to Darwin from most major airports into Darwin and Uluru including $89 flights to Darwin from Brisbane.
The Territory campaign comes on the back of Tourism Australia’s new marketing activity encouraging Aussies to holiday at home to support the local tourism industry in the wake of the devastating bushfires impacting communities across the country.
The Holiday Here This Year campaign will be rolled out across print, social media, billboards across major cities, content partnerships, radio and outdoor advertising, with Australians asked to demonstrate their support using the hashtag #holidayherethisyear.
As part of the campaign, Tourism Australia has released a social media video featuring tourism operators from across the nation including NT operators Brolga from the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs, the Nitmiluk Tours team and Claire Edwards from Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia at Uluru.
In the video, the operators encourage Aussies to ‘pack their bags and see our beautiful country’.
