Townsville Tactical Crime Squad officers charged a man with multiple drug and firearm offences in Alligator Creek on February 24.
Following the execution of a warrant in Mount Elliot Drive last Friday, police seized 13 firearms, more than $118,000 in cash, a quantity of unlawful pharmaceuticals, more then one gram of cocaine, a quantity of ammunition and more than 800grams of Methylamphetamines, with a street value of approximately $800,000.
The arrest followed a five-month operation.
A 32-year-old man from Alligator Creek was charged with four counts each of unlawful possession firearms and possessing S4/S8 drugs, three counts each of possessing dangerous drugs (including one major possession) and receiving stolen property and one count each of unlawfully possessing explosives (ammunition), possessing things used in the commission of an offence, possessing utensils and possessing tainted property.
He was remanded in custody to re-appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on April 14.
