Police have charged a 30-year-old Deception Bay man with multiple drugs, weapons and traffic offences following an arrest in Deception Bay on Wednesday, May 31.
At approximately 2.20pm, police attempted to intercept a Ford Falcon at a drive through on Deception Bay Road when the car allegedly rammed in to another vehicle before the driver fled the scene on foot.
Police allegedly arrested the man at a Awaba Court address a short time later.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The 30-year-old Deception Bay man has been charged with 26 offences including six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving without a licence, fail to comply with duties of driver involved in a crash, wearing of approved seatbelts, driving unregistered, using vehicle with incorrect number plate, light vehicle must not be driven if defective, obstruct police officer, possess Cat H weapon, possess Cat R weapon, unlawful possess S8 medicine, receiving tainted property, receiving tainted property (firearm/weapon), authority required to possess explosives, possessing restricted items, possession of a knife in a public place, possess restricted items, possess property suspected stolen, possess property suspected of being proceeds, possess property suspected for committing a drug offence, and possess property suspected in connection with commission of a drug offence.
He is due to reappear before Caboolture Magistrates Court on August 24.
