The Operations Response Unit arrested three men and seized drugs yesterday in Melbourne’s north west suburbs.
A 19-year-old Tarneit man was seen acting suspiciously in Melville Street, Tarneit at 12.40am.
He was found to be in breach of bail conditions and when arrested police located what is alleged to be cannabis.
He was charged with possessing a drug of dependence, committing indictable offence whilst on bail, contravening a conduct condition of bail and has been remanded in custody to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court today
Police later intercepted a car in Gleneagles Avenue, Tarneit at 2.25am being driven by an 18-year-old Melton man.
The man, who was on four counts of bail, was found to be breaching bail curfew conditions and was a learner driver without a full license holder accompanying him.
He was arrested and charged with numerous driving offences, two counts of contravening a conduct condition of bail and has been remanding in custody to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
At 3am on Rosella Avenue, Werribee police intercepted an unregistered Suzuki Swift.
A 21-year-old Werribee woman will be charged on summons for driving and unregistered car and driving whilst her license is suspended.
Her passenger, a 22-year-old Hoppers Crossing man allegedly provided police with false details.
Police located a quantity of what is alleged to me Methyl-Amphetamine in his possession and he was wanted for questioning over other matters.
He was arrested and has been charged with criminal damage, two counts of commit indictable offence whilst on bail, possess drug of dependence, state false name, contravene conduct condition of bail and has been remanded in custody to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 28 October.
