Four people have been charged with 14 offences following a search warrant at a Rockhampton property last month.
On October 3, the Rockhampton Tactical Crime Squad attended a property on Grace Street to execute a search warrant pertaining to dangerous drugs, when they allegedly located drug items, stolen vehicles, and evidence of animal cruelty.
The alleged stolen vehicles included a confirmed stolen vehicle that had been outstanding since April, a trailer, and a quad bike.
Multiple drug items and weapons, explosives and ammunitions were located at the property.
It will be further alleged police observed 29 roosters housed in separate cages of various sizes, with limited water and unsanitary conditions.
With the assistance of RSPCA, police seized 29 roosters and 3 dogs.
A 34-year-old Stanwell man has been charged with two counts of authority required to possess explosives, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and using, or permitting use of, a vehicle for which a number plate attached is recorded as cancelled, lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged.
He is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on November 28.
A 30-year-old Port Curtis man has been charged with two counts of possession of prohibited trap or spur unlawful.
A 33-year-old Berserker man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, unlawful possession of weapons, and two counts of possessing/acquiring restricted items.
He is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on November 19.
A 35-year-old Bouldercombe woman has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, and supplying dangerous drugs.
