A woman has been charged with high-range PCA following a crash on the state’s Mid North Coast.
About 11.15pm on Friday (13 September 2024) police were called to Main Street, Manning Point, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District attended and found a Hyundai SUV had collided with a power pole.
The 43-year-old driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
She was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned an alleged positive result.
She was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station, where a breath analysis was conducted and returned an alleged reading of 0.213.
The 43-year-old woman was charged with drive with high range PCA and was granted conditional bail to appear before Taree Local Court on Tuesday 22 October 2024.
Her licence was also suspended.
