Dubai NYE – Press information and details

Dubai Economy and Tourism

With the end of 2023 fast approaching, Dubai is preparing to ring in the New Year with world-class firework spectacles across some of the city’s most breathtaking backdrops. These jaw dropping displays will include:

The most anticipated fireworks show of the year returns this year, with a New Year’s Eve celebration that will feature a record 325 strategic firing positions on the Burj Khalifa as well as several amazing new elements in addition to spectacular fireworks. Downtown Dubai will be lit up by a brilliant show of dazzling display of lights and scintillating water-music performances at The Dubai Fountain. While special viewing platforms will be set up across Downtown Dubai, the event will also be broadcast live on televisions globally and can be watched live on Burj Khalifa’s social channels.

The 11km boardwalk along the crescent of the Palm Jumeirah will be the place to be on the Palm this New Year’s Eve. The walkway has numerous spots for visitors to watch the Atlantis fireworks, as well as the Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa displays from the Rixos-end of the crescent.

  • Drone Shows

To complement the citywide fireworks, the DSF Drones Shows will see two all-new, awe-inspiring synchronised drone displays colour the night sky at The Beach, JBR and Bluewaters. Completely free-to-attend, the two incredible displays featuring more than 800 coordinated drones will wow New Year’s Eve crowds in a symphony of colours and shapes. The first show, at 8.00pm, will celebrate Dubai’s past, and the second, at 10.00pm, will look ahead to the city’s future.
