Police are investigating the circumstances of a firearms incident in which a man received serious injuries.
Police were called to a property at Dunalley just after 3:30 this morning after the man’s neighbour found him with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The man was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition and investigations are ongoing.
