Thousands of community members and visitors alike have flocked to the many events held in the Northern Grampians Shire over the Easter long weekend.
Events such as the Great Western Rodeo, Stawell Main Street Sensation, Off the Track Easter Street Party, Lindsay Kent Memorial Fun Run and Stawell Gift were incredibly popular once again, while showing off the region and boosting the local economy at the same time.
Mayor of Northern Grampians Shire Council, Cr Kevin Erwin said, “It was great to see all the accommodation booked out, and the entries for the Gift were also strong.”
“Easter is an incredible time of year in the region with back to back events and activities making our region shine.”
“A big thank you to all those volunteers and organisations who helped showcase the area over Easter.”
“We are super fortunate to have committed and passionate people working across the weekend to provide visitors and locals alike opportunities to enjoy what the region has on offer “
