Campaspe Libraries will be hosting the Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday, 19 March between 10am – 1pm.
The day will provide an opportunity for community organisations, service clubs, volunteer groups and not-for-profit groups to promote their activities and endeavours.
Campaspe Shire Council General Manager Development, Paul McKenzie said the event was a great way to showcase community groups in Campaspe.
“In 2019, the Discovery Day was a great success. We hope to attract similar numbers, at least 60 organisations, to register for this event again.”
“We hope that this will become an important date on our resident’s calendar. Whether you’re new to town or lived here all your life, sometimes you just don’t know what’s out there until you head along to an event like this.”
“I encourage all community groups to register their interest and I encourage those local residents who want a new interest, to attend.”
The event will be held outside the Echuca Library, 310 Hare Street, Echuca.
Application forms for community groups can either be picked up from any Campaspe Library or by emailing . Applications are due Monday, 28 February.
