The annual Living & Learning Nillumbik diversARTy exhibition opens this weekend and runs through until Sunday 22 January.
A showcase of 2D and 3D artworks, the exhibition features paintings and drawings, ceramics, craft, leadlighting and more.
The 60+ artworks on display are by Living & Learning Nillumbik tutors and participants and include collaborative submissions.
Mayor Ben Ramcharan said that the annual exhibition is a wonderful celebration of the diversity of activities, abilities and people who come together at our Living & Learning centres.
“Congratulations to all the exhibitors who’ve contributed to this highly popular event.”
Living & Learning Nillumbik offers a broad range of creative courses for all ages across the three Neighbourhood House centres located in Eltham, Diamond Creek and Panton Hill. These include clay, mosaic, life drawing, botanical illustration, macramé, watercolour painting and more. Other creative courses range from writing to guitar, dancing, cooking and photography.
diversARTy is held at Eltham Library Community Gallery. A lot of the works on display will be available for purchase, and visitors are able to vote for their favourite artwork in the People’s Choice Award, which will be announced on Thursday 19 January 2023.
