Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire which occurred in Carnegie late last night.
Emergency services were called to a property on Mimosa Road just about 11.30pm after reports that a house was on fire.
The fire was extinguished and a deceased man, who is yet to be formally identified, was found inside the premises.
A crime scene guard is in place and an arson chemist is expected to examine the site in the morning as the cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
