Emerging Agriculture Leaders Celebrated

The ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Farmers’ Federation (NFF) will farewell its 2024 cohort of young emerging leaders at the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Agriculture Leadership Program graduation tomorrow.

Twelve participants will be congratulated on their leadership journey at the online graduation.

NFF President David Jochinke said this year’s leaders had shown amazing passion.

“The energy and vision from these young Australians is undeniable and contagious,” Mr Jochinke said.

“We’re extremely proud of the 2024 cohort, and we can’t wait to watch them thrive in the policy, leadership and advocacy spheres in agriculture.

“Tomorrow’s graduation ceremony will be a celebration of the hard work these young leaders have poured into the program over the past five months.”

The ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Agriculture Leadership Program is targeted at Australians aged under 35 with an interest in ag advocacy and leadership.

The flagship program provides exclusive opportunities in the agriculture sector, including mentoring, policy development guidance, and meetings with Parliamentarians.

Participant Aline Passos, a research officer at Pacific Seeds, said the program was a major turning point in her career development.

“My experience with the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Agriculture Leadership Program went beyond expectations,” Aline said.

“I made meaningful connections with the program cohort, agricultural peak bodies and a range of industry stakeholders who all inspired me to lead with purpose.”
