Today, on 3 December, we celebrate International Day of People with Disability.
The Fitzsimons Lane Upgrade project has teamed up with OC Connections Enterprises, a disability service provider, who are helping the project recycle and reuse over 4000 bollards on the Fitzsimons Lane Upgrade.
The crew are collecting old bollards from site. When the damaged bollards have been recycled into a new Eco Bollard product, they measure and place retro-reflective strips on the newly transformed Eco Bollards – creating almost 1000 hours of work for people with disability.
Watch the video below to hear from employees Daniel and Belinda about how the work they are doing with us and OC Connections is more than just a job to them.
