Council seeks local artists to display work in projected exhibition space
Edward River Council is seeking expressions of interest for local artists interested in displaying their work in a projected exhibition space, as part of the Energising End Street Project. This project is funded by the Streets as Shared Spaces Program via NSW Government Department of Planning and Environment.
The opportunity is available to three local artists and will include an exhibition payment and technical mentorship support from projection specialists, illuminart stories in light.
Who is it for:
Edward River artists interested in seeing their work exhibited at large scale on End Street using the power of lighting projection.
What is the opportunity:
A selection of your artwork will be presented in animated, composited format as an illuminating / projected digital art exhibition of your work.
What work is involved:
You will be asked to provide a selection of artwork as digital photographs or images in high quality resolution, and to collaborate with the illuminart team in developing these into stories in light.
Assessment:
EOIs will be assessed by illuminart on the basis of suitability for lighting projection in a public community space.
