Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has laid an additional 11 charges against D. & R. Henderson, trading as Monsbent Pty Ltd, under the Environment Protection Act 1970, following a comprehensive investigation into emissions from the particle board manufacturing facility at Benalla.
A total of 18 charges have now been laid.
The additional charges allege that Monsbent Pty Ltd contravened a condition of their licence in relation to air discharges.
A director of the company has now also been charged with 18 offences related to the same allegations.
Breaching the conditions of an EPA licence is a criminal offence under section 27(2) of the Environment Protection Act 1970.

The case is currently listed to appear in the Benalla Magistrates Court on 2 February 2021.
