Shoalhaven City Council is pleased to announce Shoalhaven Family Day Care Service, Child Development Co-Ordinator and four Educators have been nominated in the Excellence in Family Day Care Awards 2019.
The Family Day Care Awards are the sole national awards dedicated to the family day care sector, providing a platform to recognise our outstanding coordinators and educators. Mayor Amanda Findley is thrilled to hear five individuals from the Shoalhaven Family Day Care Service have been recognised with a nomination.
“Many of our educators and co-ordinators have been with us for a long time. They’re warm and caring individuals who are devoted to their profession and, deserve to be recognised in their field.” Mayor Amanda Findley said.
“This is the first year the Coordinator of the Year category has been held, and it is great to see our very own Coordinator Debbie Bennett has been nominated in this prestigious category.
“Coordinators are an integral part of Shoalhaven Family Day Care; they provide daily support to our educators whilst ensuring that a high standard of early childhood education and care is provided.” Clr Findley said.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner in Hobart on the 23 November 2019.
