Exciting Blue Mountains school holiday activities with national parks 19 December

Expect a buzz of excitement when ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Parks and Wildlife Service education rangers showcase the wonderful world of nature during special sessions in Blue Mountains ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park over the summer holidays.

Activities are designed to engage children aged 4 to 12 years and will be held in Blackheath.

Learning how to make a home for bees, Aboriginal games for kids, bush navigation and the ever popular Spotlight! are just some of the fun activities available over the summer break.

³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Parks and Wildlife Service ranger-guided experiences in the Blue Mountains ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park aim to nurture a curiosity and appreciation of nature in a fun and interactive way.

Children can make their own bee hotel, learn how to navigate, immerse in Aboriginal cultural art or traditional games, spot night-time inhabitants and get creative with clay.

Activities are scheduled throughout January during the summer school holidays.

Bookings must be made in advance in order to secure a spot on the day and take part in these exciting summer activities in the Blue Mountains ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Park.

Holiday activities cost $20 per child.
