Exploring growth opportunities in our food and beverage industry

Breaking global barriers and exploring growth opportunities for local food and beverage producers will be on the menu when City of Ballarat hosts a design thinking workshop on Monday.

The workshop, held in partnership with RDV and , will see 18 of our regional innovators and big-picture thinkers in the food and beverage industry come together to discuss a range of topics with a delegation of 13 from Western Australia.

Representatives from Moorabool Shire Council, Regional Development Victoria, AgVic, Global Table and the Western Australia Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development will also be in attendance.

The interactive workshop will explore growth opportunities for food and beverage producers, processors and regions in a global market through collaboration rather than competition, and what barriers may currently exist.

Through the expressions of interest process, City of Ballarat offered the opportunity to sponsor two attendees VIP passes to the Global Table event in Melbourne from 3-5 September. Mick from Salt Kitchen Charcuterie and Kate from Plate Up Ballarat were the lucky recipients.

The following innovative businesses from the Grampians region and Western Australia will be attending Innovation and Growth through Collaboration in a Global Market workshop.
