The program will deliver up to 1,000 reviews under the Menu and Mealtime Review Program, to help aged care providers:
- improve the food and dining experience for residents
- meet the new food and nutrition Aged Care Quality Standard.
The program will prioritise:
- services from rural, remote and very remote communities
- ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program providers
- services with fewer than 60 residents
- services with low scores on the Residents’ Experience Survey question ‘do you like the food here?’
- small and medium providers with no more than 10 services.
Expressions of interest to take part in the current financial year have closed.
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission will notify applicants early 2025.
