Council’s Customer Service Centre at Spence St will be closed next week (10-14 January) due to staff shortages as a result of COVID-19.
No other Council services have been impacted at this time.
The closure only impacts in-person customer service requests at Council’s Spence St administration office; residents can still contact Council via the customer service number on 1300 692 247.
Non-urgent matters can also be logged at any time via Council’s website or through the free My Cairns app, which can be downloaded to mobile devices from Google Play and the App Store.
Council also offers a variety of payment methods, including online self service via the Council website, BPay, direct debit, phone payments, mailed cheque or money order, and via Australia Post.
