A unique, ambitious and paradigm-changing project, comprised of a complex of tourist, scientific and convention facilities, has the potential to be one of the most lucrative ventures on the planet, according to Daniel Turcotte, the project’s general manager.
Turcotte said the International Raelian Movement [IRM], an organisation with approximately 120,000 members in about 100 countries, is targeting six Oceanian cities as possible sites for the embassy project: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland (NZ), Suva (Fiji).
“This endeavour will potentially generate a direct investment of tens of millions of dollars in construction and operations, and will bring in at least three million visitors per year,” he said. “Each of the six candidate cities already has the existing infrastructure to welcome all those visitors, and a half-scale model of the embassy will be a huge draw for tourism during the construction phase.”
Asked about possible obstacles, Turcotte said: “One key talking point for negotiation is the project’s requirement for internationally recognised diplomatic immunity. For example, we would need the support of the government to acquire the needed extraterritoriality designation for 1,210 acres of land.”
Turcotte pointed out that the timing couldn’t be better for these Cities of Oceania to get involved in this project.
“After years of secrecy, denial, and even ridicule concerning UFO sightings, government officials worldwide have made a dramatic policy shift,” he said. “In the last few years, they’ve finally started acknowledging the reality of unidentified aerial phenomena. Something is definitely happening in our skies; highly skilled and credible U.S. Air Force pilots have recently filmed UFOs and continue to report more and more sightings of unidentified aerial objects.”
Turcotte said it’s essential to start thinking about the occupants of those advanced craft and their goals, not just concentrate solely on their transport.
UFOs are important, but it’s time to stop focusing on them and start asking who’s inside and why they’re visiting us. Our answer is that they’re preparing humanity for official contact with them. Our project is supported by 20 organisations that together represent more than half a million supporters, and that support is growing all the time. We hope the mayors of the cities we’ve targeted will be open to the idea of hosting this extraordinary venture.”
