Council is proposing to implement a trial assistance program to eligible first home buyers purchasing a new home and living in Fairfield City.
The Draft Fairfield Assistance to First ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Buyers Policy is on exhibition until 12 July 2024 and we encourage people to .
The scheme intends to provide relief for first home buyers of new dwellings in Fairfield City who have received the NSW Government’s First ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Owner (New ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾) Grant between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
The scheme would provide eligible first home buyers with assistance equal to half of the amount collected for the applicable dwelling by Council for local infrastructure contribution.
Exhibition material is also available at Council’s Administration Centre at 86 Avoca Road, Wakeley Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm.
