Families Take Advantage of Regional Tourism Boost at Reflections Holiday Parks

Reflections Holiday Parks

Reflections Holiday Parks is applauding NSW Government initiatives to provide holiday accommodation support for families across NSW and says the three voucher schemes for accommodation bookings and recreation activities are providing a significant boost for regional tourism. Reflections Holiday Parks Group Manager Operations Cameron Tynan said families have welcomed the chance to take a break with more than 113 families already redeeming discounts in February through the ‘Parents NSW’ voucher scheme which offers up to $250 in holiday accommodation relief. “The ongoing pandemic has affected many families and the immediate uptake of these booking vouchers shows how welcome the opportunity to experience a change of scenery is for many families,” Mr Tynan said. “With 37 holiday parks throughout NSW in some of the most amazing coastal and country locations, we are excited for more people to be able experience our parks and for the much-needed boost to regional tourism these vouchers provide. “The ‘Parents NSW’ initiative provides eligible households with $250 in accommodation vouchers, while the ‘Stay NSW’ initiative provides a one-time $50 voucher, and we are expecting to see more and more people using them to book with us in the lead up to the Easter School Holidays and beyond. “We couldn’t think of a more perfect remedy for the post-Christmas blues, than a holiday with us courtesy of the NSW Government. Tourism is the lifeblood of many regional communities whose businesses are supported by park guests exploring nearby townships and spending money on food, activities and attractions.” Mr Tynan said regional communities should also take advantage of the ‘Discover NSW’ initiative, which offers three $25 vouchers for recreational activities, allowing families to purchase Day Passes for entry to the group’s country NSW holiday parks for family picnics, fishing and access to dams which are up to three times bigger than Sydney Harbour. “To support our regional communities, we have discounted our Day Passes to allow two passes to be given instead of one for those using their ‘Discover NSW’ vouchers with us. “Since December 2021, 325 families have been able to visit our reserves and spend the day with us by accessing their ‘Discover NSW’ vouchers. The morale boost this has given not only to families, but the entire tourism industry is significant.” To book a Reflections Holiday Park experience visit: www.reflectionsholidayparks.com.au.
