Police are investigating the crash of a light aircraft in Bowenville, near Toowoomba this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate the aircraft crashed onto powerlines on Malu Road around 2:20pm.
The pilot, a man aged in his 60’s was declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit, working alongside Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), and Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) will prepare a report for the Coroner
