Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Kangaroo Ground this evening.
Investigators have been told a motorbike and truck collided on Eltham-Yarra Glen Road about 6.30pm.
The motorbike rider, a 55-year-old Mont Albert man, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured and stopped to render assistance.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
